first weekend in my new house has been smashing!!! I guess i'll grow to like this place soon. Btw, went to catch Superman Returns last night and i must say that Brandon Routh looks almost like a computer graphic animation... I still have to watch MI3 and will catch Pirates soon.. i hope!!
There's much for Singaporeans to learn...every morning i get on the shuttle bus to go to my workplace and the bus driver is always so friendly, saying hi, how are you doing etc.. and the passengers reciprocate by saying thank you when they alight. So far i've noticed, at least 8 out of 10 passengers say Thank you to the driver and the 3 out of 5 drivers are very courteous and polite.
This reminds me of those courtesy campaigns Singapore tried to hold awhile back ago. Giving awards for the most courteous, friendly SBS/TIBS bus driver etc.. while the Americans just do it spontaneously as part of their cultural upbringing. Sometimes i wished Singaporeans can learn to be more friendly and have better service standards without having any incentives or forced by the Govt.
