chicken rice and more

yesterday chicken rice at upper bukit timah road was quite good... well.. after all it was robin's recommendation.. hahah

it was quite a wait for dinner coz i waited half an hour for the bus! And i reached home in record time coz my ah neh bus driver was practically speeding down farrer road.

It was quite a nostalgia feeling when i saw this man selling satay (bbq meat on sticks) from his bicycle near my block.. It was quite a rare sight indeed.

Ooooh.. i watched the new swordfighting mandarin movie, Seven Swords today! It's directed by Tsui Hark.. it was pretty good despite the 'violent' scenes... After that, we went to Orchard Road for dinner at a teochew restaurant with my aunt, uncle and cousins. It was nice to eat good traditional chinese food once again! Especially chinese food that doesn't come with fortune cookies! hahahah.

quite tired now... been out the entire day... someone remind me again why i even bother going to Orchard Road at all????
